Hi Karen and Harpo,
Personally, I have had good success with HP products. They tend to have
JAWS friendly installation programs. The HP 4180 all in one comes with a
flat bed scanner also. the OCR software that comes with it can be made to
work with JAWS. It has been a while since I bought a stand alone printer.
So, I don't have any recommendations there.
