Not so fast.  If the PC is running XP, the max that XP can address is 3
GB, so more isn't necessarily better.  Some say to get as large an HD as
you can get, but if you get a 1 terabyte HD, and it fails, you can lose
a lot of data at once, so you might opt for a max of 500 GB, and add an
external HD.

I am planning to purchase a new desktop computer in the next couple of
weeks.  I am running Windows XP and can get a computer with this on it.
I am also running Jaws 7.1 or 6.2.  I am wondering what amount of Ram I
should be looking for and what type of sound card and any other
specifics I may need to know about.  This may include clock speed and
more.  Hope this is not off topic but just don't know what will work
best with Jaws.
