What version are you using of JAWS? I understand that with JAWS 9 and up it is easier for a sighted person to see what we are doing. It's been a problem for me in the past also. With the virtual viewer on, you are seeing the screen as JAWS sees it, not necessarily as a sighted person sees it. Turning it off however is not really a good idea though it may sound tempting. I'm really rotten at explaining things, so I will leave that up to somebody better qualified than myself.
