Is there any way of using RDP securely? I've been looking at remote access
for a while now, but mainly been looking at security options. I want to be
able to get into my house machine to do home network management, but I don't
know of anything that's got the option of encrypting your connection.

VNC presents the image of another PC desktop in a bitmap image, thus JAWS
looks at it as a graphic. No access there.
I have had some luck with RDP but the PC you are RDP'ing to needs to have
JAWS installed as well. You can RDP from a PC without JAWS to one with JAWS
but will either need to memorize the log in process without speech or have
sighted assistance. The JAWS runs kinda sluggish, though.
Never had much luck with the Citrix route, either. Again the specific
Citrix box you are connecting to must have JAWS installed on it as well as
the PC you are using to connect.
Are you trying to find some kind of remote connectivity option in order to
work at a computer help desk or something?
