HI folks i'll going to discuss that issue of using laptop keyboard layout. almost laptops has insert key wich use as a key combination to have order of keystroke for JAWS features certainly. in this addition: i'll walk through that particular issue. keystrokes wich doesn't work with laptop keyboard layout. some may says: what!!! but this is the realety. i had losed an a keystroke for that reason. actually: it's not necessary: but important for me. keystroke wich has been losed was: repeating sign in-alert i'm a regular user in msn messenger so: i know most or all keystrokes of that specific application. it was an excelent keystroke of repeating sign in-alert feature. if you pressed: alt shift+F12 JAWS will automaticly announce the contact who's just signed in. but this keystroke has been moved to another situation of the keyboard located in the number pad. wich's doesn't contain in the laptop keyboard stile. even when i contacted freedomscientific technical support for that issue, i've been notifyed that unfortunately we could not able to assist you. for that: i post that issue in JAWS users groop to discuss it: it might some people have the same problem or near it. hope to get diffrent opinions. type your opinion & don't think whoever that you are. mostafa almahdy -- BEST REGARD IT'S ALWAYS HOPE THAT GIVES MEANING TO LIFE
