This won't work if the message you're replying to comes from an e-mail list.
Cheers

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] interesting question about a JAWS keystroke

The following instructions explain how to reply directly to a sender without

using the special JAWS 10 keystroke:

Replying privately to a message on a list.
Option one.
1. Open the message of the person that you want to reply to privately.
2. Hold down the alt key and press the number 1 on the num row twice
rapidly.
 3. Press control A to select the address, then control C to copy the
address to the clipboard.

Now there are two things you can do.
1. If you want to send a new message to the person, press control N for new
message.
2. Press control V in the to field to paste the address of the person you
copied.

1. If you wish to reply to the person privately, but include the message
you are reading, press control R.
2. Shift tab back to the to field.
3. Press control A to select the jfwlite email address.
4. Press the delete key to delete the jfwlite email address.
5. Press control V to paste in the email address of the person you wish to
reply to privately.

Option 2 (if you have quoting enabled).
Press control-r to reply, then arrow down to the from line, then
arrow across to the less than sign, then press shift-end key, then
control-c to copy that to the clip board, then shift-tab to the to: field,
and press control-a, then press control-v to paste in the address that you
coppied to the clip board, then tab to the edit field , and write your
message.
