If you want to read messages automatically when you open outlook, go to jaws verbosity and arrow down to reading options and enter on read messages automatically then escape and it will save the settings.
To change in outlook how often you want messages to be checked, go to tools then o for options then control tab to mail setup then tab to send and receive enter on that then tab to receive every there is a spin box where you check the number how often you want it to check for messages.I hope that helps.
