Urban dictionary is a joke website. It is slang-based, there are
neither atttributions nor citations, it's poorly conceived and poorly laid out.

have never had JAWS-type troubles with
http://www.freedictionary.com , and would suggest that one. Their
definitions are from the American Heritage dictionary...very solid.

I looked up the word 'sinecure' there, and a link in one of the definitions
wwas a word that would cause a moderator's warning here! How about
www.dictionary.com/
which is, in fact, a good-quality dictionary. And the price is right, too.
