You know, if all you need is to convert your wav files to mp3, I wouldn't suggest installing GoldWave, which is a more complex sound editor and would take lots of space and ram memory. If you can't get the Winam plugin, how about any media files converter? I use Total Video Converter for all of mine, video or audio: http://www.download.com/Total-Video-Converter/3000-2194_4-10429299.html But I've herd some about a Total Audio Converter too: http://www.brothersoft.com/downloads/total-audio-converter.html Hope it helps.
