Scott,
Press Alt+V to go to the "view" menu. In my case, that places focus on the
"current view" submenu. Open the "current view" submenu by pressing right
arrow or enter. Arrow up once to the "group messages by conversation"
option. It will most likely be checked. Press enter to uncheck it, and
that message should go away.
