You might consider downloading and installing Belarc Advisor. When you run
the program you will have a complete profile done for your system. Office
keys are included. When Belarc gives its report you can use the find
command to look for the Office key. You can download the program from the
following link:

I am going to have to restore my operating system from the original
disks. I have a copy of Word 2003 that came with a long serial number.
How do I find the serial number on the computer to try to keep the key
active when I restore the operating system?
