Just leave them unchecked. All they are are small entries that do nothing as long as they are unchecked.

I am trying to clean up my "start ups". I hit Windows Run, then msconfig When I get a list of my start ups, I scroll down to see what is checked or unchecked. Some of the programs that are unchecked are programs I have tried to uninstall. Is there a way to delete them from the start up section when in msconfig? Or, is there any benefit in doing this? Thank you.
