Probably nothing; it is not a JAWS problem; it simply takes time for the
program to load after you start your computer.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS very slow to start

What can I do to make JAWS start faster after the Windows music plays? i'm
using XP Pro, JAWS 9 on an HP laptop? i have done a recent defrag and also

used RegScrub. i have very few things checked in MSConfig and nothing in
the startup group.

Thanks for any help.
