Well, I don't have Vista but I would imagine the website where you download
Free DVD burner would say.
As far as I know it does not burn movies to DVD. I have downloaded numerous
programs and demos trying to find one to burn my home movies to a DVD so I
can give copies to family members who are not computer savvy. I was trying
to get this project ready for Christmas but gave up for lack of time. I
even tried a few programs with a sighted friend assisting but we did not
have any luck so far. It is on my agenda for this spring since my grandson
is starring in a school play in March and I want to be able to put the
videos on DVD.
All I am looking to do is convert simple .avi files to a format that plays
on DVD players and burn the DVD, of course.
I also would like to convert them to play on my husband's Ipod classic but
that is a secondary project.
I guess this is a process not usually attempted by screen reader users since
we can't see the videos anyway but I really would like to do it.
If anyone knows of a program that is extremely simple to use even if it is
not screen reader friendly I would like to know as I will enlist the aid of
my sighted friend. She is not especially computer savvy but she is a
willing pair of eyes for me to borrow in a manner of speaking.
