Dear Donnie I would recommend you download the audio tutorial files from Humanware and transfer them to your stream. You can then try out the features whilst you are listening. The audio tutorials can be downloaded from
http://www.humanware.com/en-canada/support/vr_stream_documentation The main mistake I have known people make is to not place mp3 files in a folder before transferring them to the Stream. In the $VROtherbooks folder mp3 files will only play if they are in a folder identifying a book. If you just want to listen to a single mp3 file probably the best thing is to transfer into the $VRPodcasts folder which will play single mp3 files without problems. The beauty of the stream is that you can simply use it with Jaws and Windows Explorer. Although there is Stream companion software you do not have to use this for basic tasks. It worked just like you said. Now, if I can just start to try and figure out how to operate this little animal. It seems to be an awesome little device. Thanks for your help. When you turn on the Stream, it will create the folders you need. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donnie Parrett" <[email protected]> To: "JAWS-Users" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 12, 2009 7:31 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] SD Card & Victor Reader Stream >I received my SD Card in the mail today for my Victor Reader Stream.
