Unfortunately, you cannot change the default French option in the Language
combo box. This is a bug that Microsoft has been aware of for years, but
for some reason, refuses to acknowledge. However, you can fix this problem
by downloading one of the free spell checkers mentioned previously or Spell
Checker for OE 2.1 from the web site below. This will replace the French
dictionary with an English one that works properly when you hit F7. If all
else fails, maybe Harpo can proofread your email messages. Lol!

Hi when I follow these instructions to go to tools menu, then options then
general page then spelling I tabbed got language combo box. Now it says
Frencyh. It also says to change press arrows but I tried that and it says
nothing cannot get it to list languages. What am I doing wrong how to fix
this? Thanks.
