HI Rick. I checked, and I've been informed that the newly-installed PCI wireless card is in the slot right above the sound card. Could that cause a crackling problem?
Also, the computer is indeed installed with a Sound Blaster sound card, although it's never been a problem before, and this computer has been with us for a few years.
