Here is what I do. While on the desktop. 1. Find the Jaws 9 shortcut and hit alt enter. This brings up it's properties. 2. Tab down to where it says shortcut key hot key. If it says, control alt J, back space that out and make it blank. 3. Tab to OK and save changes. 4. Now find your Jaws 10 shortcut and hit alt enter to bring up the shortcut properties. 5. Tab down to where it says shortcut key hotkey. It should say none. Type in control alt J. 6. Tab to OK and save changes. This should fix the problem. You just need to remove the shortcut command from the Jaws 9 shortcut before you can apply it to Jaws 10. Hope this helps. Jack

I have XP home and 10.00. I have a shortcut to turn JAWS on. I just noticed that when I use the shortcut key that my older version of JAWS 9.0 comes up. Also, my system tray had the 9.0 version in it. So I unchecked that particular option. My desk top has both versions showing. I deleted the 9.0 desk top, but the shortcut key did not work. So, I brought the 9.0 version back to the desk top. Is there a way of merging the 10.0 so the shortcut key brings the newer version? Thanks so much.
