Hello.

I've recently purchased a new laptop, and it should be shipping from Dell
soon. With this purchase, I'm upgrading from XP to Vista...Or, according to
some of my friends, downgrading as the case may be. I'm also going from
Office 2003 to 2007. I've figured out how I plan to move all my files as
far as documents, FireFox favorites/passwords, and all that. What do I do
to move all my outlook mail and restore it in Outlook 2007? I've moved the
folder/message structure between user profiles on the same computer running
Outlook 2003 before...Is the process the same, or is there something
different I need to do? Also, is this something doable with JAWS 10, or
will sighted assistance be needed?

Also, I'll admit I've resisted going to Vista for some time...Mainly because
I didn't need to..But now, I need the new laptop, and of course Vista Home
is what it has. Any tips for making a smooth transition? I honestly don't
think I've had any of my friends, sighted or blind, speak positively of the
experience. I consider myself a pretty advanced/skilled Windows and JAWS
user, but based on the reviews, I'm not particularly looking forward to this
one. :)

Finally, I know how to back up my Firefox settings, but haven't been able to
find documentation on how to do the same for mine and my wife's Internet
Explorer 7 settings...Anyone have some tips for doing this? She's sighted,
but I'll likely be doing most of the backing up from our desktop, but
letting her put the stuff on her own laptop, so I'm hoping it's as simple as
with FireFox; backing a folder up onto our flash drives or external hard
drive.

Thanks.

Wes
