True, but in situations like that, I always post a disclaimer.  Like, if 
you're not familiar with this procedure, then I'd suggest you not try it. 
But I'll always put the info out there for those who have the knowledge to 
make that judgment call for themselves.

I suppose it is a kind of insurance policy but it does prevent a freer flow
of information which would more than offset the small difficulties caused by
impropper implimentation and/or undeveloped advice.
