You're better off with the Professional edition since you can do sound
editing and conversion and other advanced features that the standard doesn't

Yes you can, with the free digital mixer add-on, available from
www.totalrecorder.com. In the recording source and parameters dialogue
box,
choose mix software with soundboard. Hope this helps.

Am I write in thinking that Total Recorder can join/combine two files? I
want to take the audio from a DigiTV TV recording and combine it with the
audio description track to create an audio of the programme plus the audio
description as one that can be played on the Victor Stream...
If so, what tool would I use in Total Recorder in order to do this?
