I think you meant, alt+m then the letter R. not, insert+M.

Hi that command that I mentioned insert shift r it seems to sometimes make
Jaws stop talking no matter what key you press because I noticed when you
first press that key combination sometimes you end up in the to field
instead of where you would write your message so you would have to tab to
the edit box where you right your message so I find doing insert m and
pressing the letter r is more reliable.
