Sounds like your computer has possibly become infected with some type
spyware or virus (though I'd expect the former). I had the problem once
and
tinkered for sometime but decided to reformat then do a fresh install of
windows as it had been some time since I did that.

I went to internet options menu, and tried several times to type a home
page
into the edit box and now that I have tried several times now there is a
bunch of garbage in that box I cannot delete to try again. How do I get
rid
of the garbage in the box make it blank again? I tried delete to no avail,
and tried backspace and won't just keeps coming back again. Karen thanks.
