I would close it and start over so you are at the place to tab 5
times to land at correct checkbox.

type the following in to the run command:
sndvol32
after you type this in and press enter, tab twice and hit the
spacebar and you should have sound.

I know one time this happened before and we had to type
something at the run dialogue and just not sure what that is?
This is an xp pro with jaws 9 plus.
