Hi Don, Thanks very much for this info. I'll check it out. Another option,
I thought I might try, is putting the DVD in iTunes and possibly on my Nano
with talking feature. May be in one of these methods I'll have access to
the episodes.
I'll let you know if either of these work out.

I don't think there are any programs that can tell you the titles of the
episodes. I don't think that information is available on the DVD except in
video format. I like to use VLC Media Player to watch movies for many
reasons. One reason is it has a navigation menu that will allow you to
bypass the DVD Menu and go to any Title and chapter desired.
Unfortunately, it just labels them, "title 1", "title 2", "chapter 1",
"chapter 2", and so on. At least it provides a checkmark in front of the
currently playing title and chapter.
I go to the Internet to get the titles of the episodes. I have been using
TV.com. It had all the information I wanted, such as episode number,
season, title, air date, summary and more. Unfortunately, in my limited
experience, the order of the episodes is not always the same on the DVD!
Not sure why.

Depends on the program your using to play the dvd?
At 04:56 PM 2/23/2009, you wrote:
Has anyone been able to get Jaws to read the titles of the various
epazodes on a DVD. I have 3 generations of Star Trek and I haven't been
able to pick and choose. It always starts from the beginning. So far,
changing the program playing the DVD hasn't help.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Vicky
