Your computer has one of the best calculators built into it that you could 
ever want.  You have to use the numpad, so you'll have to turn num-lock on. 
With Jaws it's turned off.
Insert H will give you a list of all the hotkeys.

What Microsoft software you are using?
I am using Microsoft 2003 at the moment and its calculator program is very
JAWS friendly and even in the earlier MS version.
