Now I can tell you how to get rid of those nice left over bits.
start menu, run.. type regedit hit enter.
now use control + f to open the find command box. Search for those two items and delete them. it will ask you if you want to remove them and just say yes.
now that its done, alt + f4 out of there and look and see they are gone.
Only delete what you look for and don't delete what you think might be something or nothing. That will get you into bigger trouble and possibly and reinstall and not a restore.
