Hi,
The JAWS cursor is similar to a mouse. The mouse does not move when you
press tab, so no you can't. The pc cursor, which is the windows carrot, does
move though.
TO put your mouse where your pc cursor is, press numpad insert with numpad
dash. I forget what it is for laptops.

When I use JAWS cursor mode can I still use tab key to get focus. It
seems to me the tabbing didn't work properly when I use JAWS cursor mode.

Yep. I route JAWS to PC all the time.
On the other hand, if I know there's something the JAWS cursor is seeing
that the PC cursor should have focused on, I'll route PC to JAWS as a way
to
make it focus on the item if I can't get focus restored by alt+tabbing.

Actually, I find myself doing mostly the latter. The JAWS cursor can go
to areas of the screen that the PC cursor doesn't, so sometimes the
control that you seek can be found a lot easier with the JAWS cursor.

This brings a question to mind. Everyone knows about routing Jaws to
PC.
But is their any use for routing PC to Jaws with insert numpad plus? In
the 10 years I've been using Jaws, I have yet to find a reason that this
key command has any use. What the heck is it for?

The PC cursor is the one that moves with you when you type. The JAWS
cursor is associated with the Mouse cursor. It can go some places that
the PC cursor cannot.
