When you reply or forward to the target message sender and leave their
messages intact in your reply, then the original text of their message forms
part of your outgoing email. however, you can uncheck the spelling check of
original text in a reply or forward. Here is how.

In outlook Express mage list:
1. Go tools - alt-t, Options - o.
2. Press shift-tab.
3. Press right-arrow six times to get to the Spelling Tab.
4. Press the tab key five or six times, and then uncheck that checkbox "the
original text in a reply or forward".

5. Explore the dialogue at your leisure some time, by tabbing through it.
Also explore the other dialogues in this multi-page dialogue box, by
pressing ctrl+tab to get to each of the different pages and then tabbing
through them.  Press the tab key to move forward; shift+tab to move back;
ctrl+tab to move forward a page; and shift+ctrl+tab to move backwards a
page.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] spellchecker for word 2003 question

Hi my spellchecker tries to check the other person's spelling on their mail
when I try to send mine out instead of just checking my mail for spelling.
Can somebody tell me in detail how to get it to just check spelling on my
outgoing mails? Thanks. Step by step would be great. Karen and Harpo
