When you installed the JAWS Scripts Exchange, did you install the new 2.0
beta? If so, did you elect to also install any other scripts like Homer, BX
Toolbox or any other developer tools?
Tools like Homer add a ton of extra functionality to JAWS in general,
especially most editing programs. They do, however, remaap keys in several
applications to other functions. If you want this extra functionality, I
suggest that you read the documentation carefully to learn the new functions
and key assignments.

It probably does have something to do with that Scripts Exchange that
you downloaded. You can try messing with the verbosity, or try a Jaws
repair.

It's the same with sentences for me - alt+arrows does not work.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Weird Outlook Express problem
Hi, all,
For some reason, when I type a message into Outlook Express which has
multiple paragraphs, using the control key in conjunction with the up
and down arrows will not read the previous and next paragraphs. It just
jumps me to either the top or bottom of the message. Curiously, this
is only happening in Outlook Express. I looked in the keyboard manager,
and it indicates that control-up-arrow and control-down-arrow are
supposed to say the previous and next paragraphs, but they don't.
I did not notice this problem until a few days ago when I installed JAWS
Script Exchange. I'm wondering if that would have modified my Outlook
Express script files? It is the only thing I can think of. If anyone
has any suggestions on how to fix this problem, please let me know.
BTW: I am using JAWS 9.0, Windows XP, and Outlook Express 2003.
Thanks,
Erin
