Don,

Just download the Word 2003 Menu file from the web site below and save it in MY Documents or some other such easy to find folder (select Save, not Open in the File Download dialog). Once you have named and saved it, select it from My Documents or whatever folder you chose and hit Enter. Select and hit Enter on Word Menu 2003, the only item in the list box. You will get the file download dialog again. Hit Space on Open, and Word 2007 will open on the document window. There will be extraeneous text in the document window which can be deleted by Select All. To locate the Word 2003 menus, hit Alt, left arrow twice to Add-Ins tab and hit Enter. Then just tab through the Word 2003 menus and hit Enter on the one you want. You can then arrow up and down through the various options as you normally would. HTH.

How do you install and use these add-ins?I downloaded them, unzipped them and copied them to the appropriate Start folder in the settings area for Word and Excel. I could not find any Office 2003 menus. In fact, my computer started functioning irregularly! So I ran complete Spyware and virus scans. The scans were clean, but I deleted these files anyway. My computer returned to normal. Was I doing this wrong? Are these add-ins legitimate?

Yeah, I also hate this new-fangled ribbon menu system. However, there is a free add-on you can download from the site below that will add the classic Word 2003 menus to the Add-ons option of the Word 2007 ribbon menu. This will give you the ability to use either the Word 2007 ribbon menus or the more traditional Word 2003 menus, including the beloved Letter Wizard which was dropped from Word 2007. You can find tutorials on using Office 2007 with JAWS on the FS training downloads page.

Is there a tutorial around for this program which looks nothing like its `predecessors?
I understand there is a way to get rid of those ribbons.
Thanks in advance.
