before you install the new build, perhaps you need to first uninstall and remove your original JAWS10 and its folders - particularly if it was downloaded from the Web. Then try installing the new build. Or, if the original JAWS10 was downloaded from the Web, you could uninstall it and then install it with the JAWS10 CD, and then update it via JAWS Updates. (For safety, just check that JAWS10 one, before doing any other updates there.) .
