Yes, you can as others have already stated. However, you need to be aware that when you use JAWS instead of the K1000 voice, there will be some things that JAWS cannot read. One example is the dialog box for Save As.
But if you do use the K1000 voice and then you Alt+Tab away from K1000, you have no voice until you release the Alt+Tab. For the above 2 reasons, I really hate using K1000.
