I use Amazon extensively. Especially around Christmas where I can have them
gift wrapped as well. Since I only have one finger on my right hand,
wrapping is difficult. I don't get out to the stores much because my
wheelchair is so screwed up my wife is afraid it will fall apart again! My
wife hates shopping anyway. I end up shopping for a great deal on-line. I
love taking advantage of the free shipping as long as I plan ahead. In my
area, the Free Super Saver Shipping usually only takes two or three days.
I find the product pages very navigatible by heading. I don't like to use
the accessible pages because too much information is missing.Sometimes, like
Christmas shopping or simply comparing items, I find the other "garbage"
information useful.
The search results page is not quite as easy. There is a heading level 1 to
mark the beginning of the possible categories and filters. Unfortunately,
Amazon does not have an easy way to go from one result item to the next. I
wish they would do something like the newegg.com search results page. They
use heading level 3 tags for each found item. This makes browsing through
the items a breeze!
The shopping cart is not too bad to navigate either. The simplest method is
to press the b key to go to the next button until you hear "Save for later"
Press b once more and you should hear "delete", use the down arrow twice and
you will find the first item. .Again, I wish Amazon would use heading tags
to make it easier yet.

I definitely agree. In addition, several times, I was unable to check out
on the "access" page so I was forced to go to the regular page anyway.
Since then, I only use it to search for what I want and go back to the
regular page to purchase it.

There are a couple of things I do not like about Amazon's accessible
site, though. There is no log out button that I can find. Also, you
seem to not get the more detailed information and descriptions about the
products you are shopping for. It seems to be so scaled down that it
loses a lot of good info. Anybody else agree?

Has anyone on this list found any tricks to make Amazon.com any more
user friendly? I find it very difficult.
I am using JAWS 10, XP professional service Pac 3 and Internet 7.
Thanks for any suggestions!
