I have that problem too in windows live messenger with jaws 10. For instance
if andy sends me a message, jaws will say "andy. andy. andy. andy. andy.
andy." about every second until I go to the window. After that, it will
start cutting off the name for instance "and... and... and... and... and..."
I have not found a way to solve this yet, sorry.

Hello Friends,
My friend is facing some problem regarding her JAWS 8.0 in window live
Messenger. She is having Windows xp in her computer and Window Live
messenger 8.1 has been installed. Problem is that the jaws keeps on
repeating the title of the chat window untill she brings her focus to the
relevant chat window. if two or more chat windows r opened, she doesnt get
the alerts but JAWS announces the titles without any interval. Please,
anyone can help in solving this problem.
