Thank you for taking the time to explain this. I can make tables and columns
in Word, but always like to see if there's something I'm missing or maybe
doing it a better way.

I put together a couple MP3 files that explain how to use Word 2003 for
creating simple forms and templates. If you want to listen to them then
you can download a zip file at the SendSpace link shown below. The first
one covers using fields without tables and the second one uses form fields
in a table.
