Thanks Flor. I got an Apple rep to walk me through the set up process. An
brother were you right. That Automatic Forms Mode became nothing but a
nuisance.
But I'm through with it now. What I'd appreciate is a brief explanation of
how to download tunes.

Hi,
I would suggest using JAWS9 or JAWS8 for the account setting up. In
JAWS10,
you may be better off turning off AutoForms Mode here. All JAWS users at
least, has difficulty with this setting up account process; but, once
that's
got through, nearly all of ITunes is usable or accessible. .

Subject: [JAWS-Users] QUESTION ABOUT APPLE ITUNES
In my constant search for web sites where I can download music, I found
Apple's ITunes 8. Apple has come out with a talking media player called
the Nanno Version 4 which actually has talking menus. I downloaded
Apple's
ITunes 8 and it's a fantastic media player. But getting an account on
their
web site is something entirely different. I have tried everything and so
far, I haven't been able to make that site work. Jaws gets tangled up and
won't allow me to make entries on the correct places. Even the automated
Forms mode quits and it's driving me bananas. I know that there are
people
who use this service who are blind but I really could use some help if
anyone is on this list.
All I want to do is to create an Apple ID so that I can pay for and
download the tunes I'd like. I have tried System Access but I couldn't
find
the correct web page because that screen reader reads even less than Jaws
does on the site. That's a real surprise to me since normally, SA reads
things that Jaws won't. Enough said. There's enough things on that
ITunes
site to keep anyone busy for the rest of their life, assuming they have
the
time.
If anyone can help me with this, I'd sincerely appreciate it.
