Not for me just tried it again, pressing enter after deleting the word blank
and putting in a space.
I did this with Jaws nine and it worked, I even merged nine to ten and it
does not work either.

When you can't do one thing, then use your 'noggin' and try another.
Press
the enter key after inputting a space. then proceed and tab, etc.
Whether
it is meant to or not, I found that this works. (It works in JAWS10.)
And
if you do that in the dictionary instead, then all occurrences of the word
blank with be blanked out, and we don't want that.
