Hello Listers,

I'm trying to read several long passages of Latin text and it's the
first time I have to do this with a speech synthesizer.

It's very tiring not to be able to only concentrate on the
interpretation, but to be distracted by the eloquence English
non-pronounciation of the e vowel extentions or conjugations at the end
of words.

So I want to switch to the Italian synthesizer when reading this
document.

It's html files, language detection is checked, I have the default jaws
installed, which I'm 99% certain includes Italian, but it stubbornly
sticks to English.

I've tried this on three different computers, running jaws 8, 9 and 10
respectively, without success.

But it also remains on English even when reading some other languages.

I don't want to change the default language, as I would probably not
even be able to understand the Italian menus, in order to change it
back.

How can I force eloquence to change to Italian on this document?

Thanks and regards

Riana

Your help would be appreciated.
