Hi Donnie, Follow these steps to remove unwanted icons from the System Tray:
1. Press Windows key, then Escape. 2. Tab to the Task Bar and press Alt-Enter to bring up the Task Bar Properties dialog. 3. On the Task Bar page, tab to the Notification area customize dialog and hit Enter. 4. Arrow down the list of icons and find the icon you want to remove or "hide". Press the right arrow to the combo box and select "always hide". 5. Repeat step 4 for each icon you want to hide. 6. Tab to Okay, hit Space and tab again to Okay and hit Space. That's it. BTW: MalwareBytes is another free alternative to Super Anti Spyware, but you can use both if you want, as long as you run them at different times. When I'm on Skype or doing something that I do not want to be interrupted by the email sounds, I will close Outlook 2000 out by hitting alt plus F4. I am finding that when I do this, I am still hearing the email sounds when I get an email. Could someone please tell me why this is happening?
