You should be able to label the buttons in most applications by creating a
Control Prompt. To accomplish this, do the following:
1. Move to the button with the PC cursor by pressing Tab to the unlabeled
button.
2. Press Insert + NumPad - (minus) to route the JAWS cursor to the button
as well (not sure this is necessary, but I do it to be safe)
3. press Insert + Control + Tab. The Create Control Prompt dialog appears.
4. Type in the text you want to hear when moving to the button, then press
Enter.
5. Additional dialogs will appear for a Braille prompt and a tutor message.
Either type in new messages or accept the defaults by pressing Enter each
time.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to label buttons?
Hi Folks,
Using JAWS 10, please can anyone tell me how to label buttons within an
application.
I have just started to use regcure, a registry cleaner and many buttons
are not labelled or at least JAWS reads as "Button" whereas a sighted
member of my family can see the name of any button.
Many thanks in advance.
Kindest regards,
Ibby Karbhari
