Well, there is a possible short-cut way, if your ISP allows it. [And if the receiving listserver does not prevent it.] Open a new message; neave the To and CC fields empty; fill in the BCC field with the list subscription addresses, each separated by a comma or simicolon. For the sake of convention, I would send BCC a separate message to freelists lists [where the terminology is '[email protected]' and where the subject line is 'subscribe'; and BCC a separate message to lists on yahoogroups [where the address is '[email protected]' and with nothing in the subject line.]
I believe I once managed to unsubscribe seven Yahoogroups lists at one go by sending such a 'message' - with all of the BCC addresses, it was broken up into seven received individual messages. Each unsubscribe confirmation message then arrives as a separate message. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 04, 2009 8:23 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Question about programs that will automaticallychange addresses in address book from another internet service provider to a different one. I understand all that, I just thought that their might be a program that would automatically be able too do that without going through the process of doing it one by one, so that's why I asked the question in the first place. If there was a program in fact, that could do that, then the program could invariably provide notification to email lists that either he, or she was subscribed too. However, if it aint possible, then so be it. You don't know, unless you ask.
