1. press insert+J for the jaws menu. 2. Press the alt key to open the options menu. 3. Cursor down until you hear Basics. 4. Press enter and tab until you hear "keyboard layout and make certain desktop is checked. Frankly I think you are confusing the two keys because they are located tab above caps-lock.
