I don't know if the update notification for frames affects inline frames or
not. You might set the notification update in verbosity to something other
than off and make sure inline frames is set to on.
How about turning screen echo to all instead of highlighted? It might be
that JAWS will read the text being updated in the inline frame as it is
painted to the screen.
It seems to me that either writing a simple script or adding a function to
be called in an existing script are possibilities. You might write your
post to the user group who discuss JAWS scripts.
Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 10 and refresh virtual buffer
Hello All,
I have an application that uses an Iframe to load a full document. I am
using JAWS 10 with IE7 and jaws can't recognize the Iframe for the first
time when it loads or when the Iframe content changes. Refreshing the
virtual buffer using keystroke does work and works as expected. Has anyone
experienced the same? Is there a way to refresh the virtual buffer of JAWS
automatically?
TIA
Nagendra
