well heres what I was told to do. That's because you are not connecting to your e-mail server for some server. Maybe its you, maybe it has nothing to do with you.
Sometimes, when your server goes down, you have to reset your modem. If you have a power switch on your modem, turn it off for about 15 seconds and then turn it back on. This will reset your modem. Not a bad idea to disconnect your modem from your computer at both ends and plugging back in to make sure your connections are secure. If you don't have a power switch on your modem, simply unplug it for the same 15 seconds and plug it back in. Reboot your computer and hope for the best. If this doesn't work, check with your company to see if they are having problems in your area.
