I just uninstalled spybot and installed super antispyware. Super antispyware I found is much easier to use. Uninstalling spybot is a multi step process. After the uninstall is done there are some files that require manual removal. With the windows find I located them and was able to delete all but one folder. There is a dll that is still in use. After a computer restart the folder in program files can then be deleted.
