Download from the FS site the full version of the latest JAWS 10, and
install it. (You can remove your existing JAWS10 if you have another
version of JAWS on your computer.)

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Reparing jaws

I have strange behaviors happening with my Jaws v10. I have version
J10.0.1142 running. But if I wanted to check to see if this was true right
now I can not. Jaws key j brings up content global adjustment settings. If I
paste text in an email message directly from the internet such as from the
washington post and go to the bottom of the pasted text when I arrow up so I
can edit text the text does not scroll up. I have to paste the text in ms
word and then btring it in to the message and only then does the arrow keys
scroll up correctly. I tried to install the latest release of jaws that I
downloaded but I keep getting the message that the file is corrupt or some
cabinet files can not be found or something like that. Unfortunately, I can
not find my Jaws V10 CD right now. I thought in earlier versions of jaws
when you went to add remove in the controll panel and wanted to uninstall
jaws you had a choice to modify, repair and uninstall. The only choice I see
now is uninstall. Now, of course I could be wrong but I thought there was
those options. perhaps, Freedom Scientific might consider putting those
options their. Other than uninstalling jaws and reinstalling over again does
anybody have any suggestions how to repair the issues I noted above? Thanks.
