It could be that you have say all without pauses.
Try insert V, go to the say all menu and experiment with the different choices till you find what you like.

Hi listers. I am using jaws 8.0.2173U. When writing an email a few seconds ago, I decided to read it. I did this because I had been performing some tests regarding jaws and different email systems. On both systems Jaws spoke as if I had no periods. Here's an example: Hi my name is Zach and I am blind I like chickens I also like biking in open farmland when I am not in open farmland then I like being on the computer or the braillenote

There should be periods after: blind; chickens; farmland; braillenote

I left out the periods on purpose in the sample. But my question now arises: is JAWS simply ignoring grammar?
