[JAWS-Users] Labeling buttons with JAWS 8

I have an application that has plenty of unlabeled buttons and edit and
combo boxes.  Is it possible to label them with JAWS somehow so that I will
be able to use this?  I have a sighted person around who can give me a hand.
I just need to know if it's possible with JAWS 8 and how to do it.
