Oh well, I went back to JAWS8 just now for a few minutes, and the page-break was not announced there during Say-All, though it was announced when one pressed the arrow keys, but without having to modify the dictionary. This just may be a case of six of one and half-a-dozen of the other, apart from the valid point that a page-break should be spoken for the user without his/her having to resort to arcane coding in ASCII or ANSI to help accomplish this.

I opened MS Word and then the Dictionary manager and added a new entry where \0012 was to be spoken as a page break. That's back slash, followed by 0012 with no spaces for those not using punctuation. I'm now hearing the words page break for hard page breaks in previously saved files as well as if I use the Control +Enter to create a hard page break. WooHoo!
